Black Lives Matter Tokyo This group was created in response to and in support of the protests happening in the US and worldwide as a response to the murder of George Floyd. However, Floyd’s death is just one of many unjust instances black people have suffered at the hands of those sworn to protect them. Our goal is to spread awareness on these issues, not just as problems faced by Americans but by examining the global scope of them. Furthermore, through our events we would like to show solidarity to those fighting for us back home—we’re listening, we’re with you, and we want the world to know and speak up. このグループは現在アメリカのみならず世界中で行われているジョージ・フロイド氏の白人警察による殺害事件に対して行われている社会運動を支援するグループです。 アメリカではジョージ・フロイド氏の事件のような白人警官による黒人に対する暴力や黒人の殺害は珍しくはありませえん。 ＃BlackLivesMatter とはこのような不正当な暴力と差別の撤廃を訴える社会運動です。 私たちのゴールはこの人種差別問題の認識度を広め、アメリカだけが対面している問題としてではなく世界中で注目されるべき問題として情報を発信し活動をすることです。 尚、私たちはアメリカ本国で行われている社会運動をサポートするための活動も行います。
